Consultation Approach

Hydro One and Hydro Ottawa believe that consultation is an integral part of ensuring that the Power South Nepean project meets the identified future electricity needs of your community. Public input will also assist in project planning and decision-making to minimize project effects on the environment, landowners and the community, while respecting ratepayer interests. Our consultation approach is consistent with the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change’s Code of Practice:  Consultation in Ontario’s Environmental Assessment Process (rev. January 2014), which may be viewed at: https://www.ontario.ca/page/consultation-ontarios-environmental-assessment-process
